Even in cultures where public bathing and bathing together with family is a thing, I don't think it's particularly common for mixed bathing areas outside of parents bringing toddler age children in with them, so not particularly sure why you're trying to paint not wanting to see the opposite genitalia as some kind of non-issue.

Because they're basing it in sexual attraction, ie someone with a penis is there to prey on us with vaginas because they're attracted to us, when that conveniently ignores the fact that there are people with vaginas attracted to people with vaginas in these spaces and there is no issue there.

Its reasonable for you to argue this point, but you should know that you're arguing for all bathrooms/changing rooms/saunas to be mixed genders. That's a perfectly fine opinion to argue for, just making sure it's logically consistent.

One swimming pool I go to has a public changing rooms where you're only allowed to change behind a closed cubicle door. There may well be a male or female in the cubicle next to you. You just can't walk outside of your changing room naked. Not even to use the shower. You have to wear your swimming costume to use the shower.

Thats how mixed changing rooms should be.

I do agree that its a lose lose situation. Get ridiculed by cis women that dont want to be exposed to a penis. Or get ridiculed by men because of being a transgender. I dont know what the answer to that is, and I already stated earlier that the idiot woman reacted very poorly.

But the fact still remains that in America most cis women wont be comfortable with an exposed penis nearby in certain situations.

Spaces which advertise the that people may enter based on gender identity so other customers can opt out if they don't wish to be in such a space, spaces that offer mixed bathing areas (if they exist in abundance), or simply not at all. There are cases where people's dumb sensibilities don't need to be accounted for (like Christians/Muslims getting mad trans people simply exist), but this is such a case where the biological reality is relevant and will always be relevant to the vast majority of people.

There's a massive elephant in the room that will result either in this video not going viral, or there being excuses as to why the woman was saying what she did.

The reality is that in situations like this, in America, the only real solution would be to make spaces for all genders. I am all for genderless bathrooms, but these would have individual stalls not 20 toilets in a row in the open for everyone to see each other.

Yeah, should could have said what she was saying much better. And there is a chance she doesn't see transwomen as women. It's hard to say if her words were because she was angry or because that's how she really believes.
