Yeah Ive given up. I was subscribed to all the alerts on Twitter and everything was sold out instantly. Waited in the queue from PlayStation Direct twice last time they sold out as soon as it was my turn.

Ive had the Twitter alerts on for MONTHS. Ive done the PlayStation direct more than a dozen times. Every fucking time it just says more than an hour wait and then they sell out in 15 minutes tops. I dont even want one anymore.

It's unlikely that they won't see similar (if not better) sales again later. There's little incentive to go for it now, if he can't play them yet.

Do you have multiple devices open to increase your chances of getting through the queue early? My wife and I got ours two weeks ago on the 5pm General direct by having 3 pcs and 2 phones with the page open and my phone got in early and we ordered one.
