Cops come in after hearing a guy with an AR-15 is killing people, they see a guy with a AR-15 in his hands, and they have maybe a split-second to respond. Well, assuming that the guy actually picked up the rifle and that the cops aren't lying about that to cover for the fact a trigger-happy "IT'S SHOWTIME!!" mentality cop didn't kill them then try to cover by ass by saying he had the rifle in his hands. It might have helped if there was some bodycam footage. Muscles posted... Fuck the police ...kind of a tasteless remark when the would-be mass shooter was literally ambushing and murdering cops. If you've already put the shooter down you need to make it clear that you are not the threat that officers were called to respond to. Do not have a gun in your hand when they arrive. That should be enough for the police to be in de-escalation mode, not shoot on sight.
