TC did you know servers sometimes turn down management role offers because they can make more money as a server?

I'm hoping for the opposite. All the restaurants should close down so people will be forced to learn how to prepare their own food.

Servers are at an advantage if they're not paid a livable wage because a good serving gig is probably paying $18/hour UNTAXED on average lmfao let's not fucking kid ourselves and act like servers don't make good money if they work a busy restaurant.

Also its not a lack of servers that are causing your main issues, it's a severe understaffing in back of house where they're paid $12/hr on average which was already prevalent BEFORE Covid.

Shut the fuck up about serving jobs, yall are the most entitled and undeserving piece or shit workers to ever grace the United States

Cool story bro. I made $56 after taxes. Servers can seriously go fuck themselves. All the glory, none of the work.

The lucrative restaurants aren't having any employment issues. A serving gig at a good spot pays better than most college degrees. The problem is all the other restaurants. No, they will not ever get a reliable base of employees until they pay an actual wage on top of the tips. And the ONLY person to blame is the business owner. If you can't afford the work, you can't afford the business and it's time to shut down.

If you've ever worked in a restaurant, the noise of the ticket machine is hilariously divisive. For FoH, it means money money money. For BoH, it means work work work lol

One of the ones I worked at had a particular sound and I had auditory hallucinations about it whenever I'd try to sleep at night lol, shit was annoying.
