some of the biggest issues are trying to look busy so you're not given some of someone else's work load.

I've always been bad at doing something potentially unpleasant for long-term reward. I probably would've failed the marshmallow test as a kid. Shit I might not pass it today.

I got through high school by just being very good at schoolwork. I did my English homework in the five minutes of passing period.

I have worked in this office for nearly a decade. Its boring as fuck but easy as fuck. Theres like 3-4 hours of actual work to do in an 8 hour day so the other 4-5 hours are just spent looking busy.

If you get lucky and score a permanent WFH job then youve basically won the damn lottery because you dont have to worry about looking busy when the boss walks by

Word I have a permanent work from home job right now, been looking at other jobs for pay increase, however I don't know if it's worth it moving from something that's WFH to something where potentially the new supervisors will want some engagement.

I dont even have to get on camera. These new Work From Home jobs are talking about "peer programming" and I'm not really with that. I really value my privacy and freedom
