My dad's side is from Wales, if I understood it correctly. At the very least, definitely from the UK.

My mom's side is from the east coast of America. Don't know any further back than my great grandparents on that side.

I'm full Filipino but I ran into someone with my same last name when trying out my tux (it's not a common last name at all). He turned out to be Spanish so I guess that's the line of Filipinos I belong to lol

My ancestors are primarily from Mexico and the UK/Ireland.

Dad was from the London slums. His family had some Irish in there as well.

Moms side of the family is all over the place. Some Portuguese, Guyanese, Brazilian, Mexican, and even a small amount from Sierra Leone.

Family reunions end up just being a melting pot of skin tones.

My dad's side is largely Norwegian, Dutch and Icelandic. I have an uncle who dug deep into our ancestry and did all the work. My great grandparents came here as kids and settled into North Dakota.

My mom's side is a mystery to me... Germanic I would guess. I'm tempted to do DNA ancestry to find out.

I don't know much.

Mom's grandad was a Native American, and her grandma had family from Germany.

On dad's side all I know is that they're all dark skinned. I'd guess some kind of Southern American, or Mediterranean ancestry, but honestly I've got no idea. My grandma never said. Dad and his siblings refuse to say, so... *shrug*

I don't really care all that much though.

I'm white. One grandmother was 100% Irish (her parents were both first generation immigrants). I know I've got some Welsh and some English but the rest is just a mix of north west Europe. Most of my family has been in the US for 200+ years.

My parents are Italian immigrants.

Dad is from Trinidad, my AncestryDNA says 28% Southern India and 22% Northern India.

Mom is from Puerto Rico, and her mom is from Ecuador. AncestryDNA says I can claim being a mestizo on my mom's side (mix of Indigenous Americas + European ancestry). I have no ties to Europe, only South America and the Caribbean.

I'm a Euro mutt. I hate myself because of the color of my skin, even though my family was in America pre-revolution and is on record as being fierce abolitionists. I'm a racist because of the color of my skin. I am so privileged I should kill myself.

My grandpa's parents were both born in Canada, him and my Grandma were born in Canada, my dad was born in Canada, and I was born in Canada. I know at some point my ancestors on my dads side came from the UK but my recent ancestry is Canadian.

My moms side is English and Irish.

My mom is overwhelmingly Anglo with some Irish, French, and German. My dad was a Mexican mestizo with indigenous, Spanish, and African heritage.

Half-Swedish (dads side) and half-Finnish (mums side). My maternal grandpa was born in a Finnish speaking village to Finnish parents in northern Sweden and my maternal grandma came to Sweden as a kid during WW2.

I'm born and raised in England.

Can trace my Dad's side back quite a few generations and all come from the Lake District/Cumbrian region. Full records don't go back far enough, but more than one of the surnames can be traced back to Border Reiver clans. Basically bandit gangs formed of English and Scottish peasants who were sick of the two nations constantly warring and would raid their respective armies and townships, usually quite brutally.

My mum's side hasn't had as indepth ancestry done. However my Nana's Grandfather (so my Great Great Grandfather) was Blackfoot Native Canadian. My Great Great Grandmother emigrated to Canada and met him there and moved back to England as it was safer to have a Native American mixed child here.

It's possible I'm 1/4 Turkish, but never done the DNA analysis and my Nana flat out denied that my Mum was the product of an affair. We're 99% certain this is true though. Nana and Grandad both had fair hair and blue eyes, my mum has dark hair, olive skin and brown eyes. Secondary school genetics would suggest two blue eyes parents having a brown eyed child is improbable. And my Nana did have a Turkish friend she was very close with.
