my wife and my 10 yr old daughter have both played hundreds of hours of it and still enjoying themselves, so yeah I dunno about "worst" but it certainly is a decent enough game

It's better than New Leaf, but yes, modern Animal Crossing lost focus on the mystery of the world and enjoying your small, unimportant place in it, in favor of dollhouse gameplay and shaping the world to your exact specifications.
