Looks a cross between Pokemon RBY (or maybe that's the old RG?) and Link's Awakening, with some generic monster designs thrown in.

It's the sort of thing where, if it hit 90% off, I might try it but I can't see myself grabbing it otherwise. There are far too many free fan versions of Pokemon out there DeltaBladeX posted...
