Knowing how Twitters algorithm works would probably do you a world of good. Youre better off asking people who use Twitter more than me, but my understanding is that your posts are more likely to show up on other peoples feeds if you engage with them (also helps that basically everyone will comb through their likes/comments and might engage with your game upon seeing you) Being an indie dev is tough, make sure to use all those Twitter bots too. Just tagging #indiedev and stuff like that will get them to retweet your stuff for you, directly to a crowd of people who are also using that specific hashtag.
