Damn i just realized Walter is a year younger than I thought. Thats kinda pathetic since I've had him since he was 8 weeks but he's 2 and some months and I thought it was 3 and some months.

Right now I am in blue mood. At my previous job, there is a cat that roamed the land and took care of the property, and she was the boss of the land. She was my right hand cat, but something has happened to her in the past three weeks. I do not know if some poison her or if she got into something, but I am going to take her to the vet tomorrow. All ready the end result will be put down just do not know how long she has left. It is tearing me up.

My dog passed away this morning. On top of having to take the cat to the vet. First thoughts are either kidney failure or leukemia/feline aids, but they are doing blood work today. Will call with updates.

Her name is Momma Kitty. I have three of her grandsons, and one of them acts just like his grandmother.

Mereoleona has taken quite well to wearing shirts. It's to keep her from licking herself raw, but she also seems to just like being fashionable.

I actually had to take the paw covers off because they were too small. There was a size chart on the back and, according to it, she should have been able to wear an even smaller size, so I don't know what's up with that. I'm still looking for socks for her. The pet store has some "walking boots" that I could get her, but I'm worried they'd be too big.

It sounds horrible, but I feel just... uneasy about taking her to the vet. My usual one just kept giving me borderline useless advice on keeping her paws clean and didn't even notice the spots on her chest last time (and then charged me hundreds of dollars). Mereoleona is also very reactive and I worry that she'll bite a new vet. She's bitten me multiple times while I clean her up. Poor girl has it rough, but I'm gonna keep taking care of her.

She seems happy though. She purrs. She meows when I'm carrying her food to her designated spot. She likes to sit next to me on the couch. She even got super snuggly the other day.

Yay! Does she ever go home with you or any of the other employees?

I got a bunch of pics since I last posted to sift through, can't possibly post em all. I'll find some highlights later.

Furrball is seemingly jealous and fully aware of the cats outside. She's been randomly holding my lap hostage.

The little heartbreakers are growing up. The voidling seriously had me concerned a few mornings ago. He's always barging into the door and last to leave at food time. Didn't show up all breakfast, so as the others ate I walked the yard and neighbor's yard expecting to find a body due to raccoons.
Other neighbors said something along the lines of "leave it alone" to their kid that made me wonder. After they left I look over and see him creep out from cover. Apparently somewhere in the morning he climbed the fence or a tree and got stuck on their side where they have 2 large dogs (they were inside at the time). So I had to swiftly walk over to bail him out as he met me halfway.

Got extra food for him, then a few hours later he held onto my hand with his forepaws, so he could lick it repeatedly. I swear he's too sweet.

Oh and I've also been randomly introducing him to Furrball, so that's been interesting.

Walter learns how to make fire without "mighter and latches."

Very hard when she's getting her paws cleaned. She'll do a more gentle warning bite if she's just feeling overstimulated.

I feel like I'm slightly cheating, but more cats for the cat topic.

Ok, I sifted through to narrow it down for now, give each one a better showcase so to speak. Assuming gamefaqs doesn't troll me with rotation/limits. And yeah, they all have names... mostly because saying 'the big scaredy fluff' or 'the screamy one' was a bit weird long term. Their ears are looking much better than in these images.


This is the voidling roughly 20-25 minutes after his rescue from the neighbor's yard and eating. I picked the one with his eyes open, because it underlines the fact he was exhausted from having to hide in strange dog smelling lands. Has a small white spot on his neck just above his sternum that's surprisingly hard to photo.

This is the smol one that I comforted when the mother was very angry/disciplinary towards. She's got a close bond with the voidling. Pretty quiet and the orange/brown section really pops in person.

She still has a booboo on the bridge of her nose here so it makes it look weird/dark, but it's mostly cleared up now. She has a near perfect 50/50 split face with one half being black/brown, the other pink/orange. It's very striking and she's very vocal, like man is she vocal.

Ok, good I wasn't trolled onto the next 3.


This is the big scaredy fluff, she's so damn sawft and hisses at everything. Though she's grown to stop hissing at me and seems to be the best climber so far. She and one with a split face are closest together.

Meanwhile, when I'm not dealing with the above heartbreakers and go inside I have to deal with this....

She's very jealous/clingy lately.

As a bonus I present to you actual mommy milkers. I couldn't resist...
This is what it looks like when 4 12+ week old kittens nurse on their poor mother. It's pretty much a damn mugging. This is also why I'm concerned she's working on another set of kittens. The top two are literally pushing and rolling her over as she gives a face that says it all.

The family photos are awesome! I'm impressed that you can tell the three non black ones apart.. is it usual for kittens to keep nursing after 12 weeks?
