I normally feed my cat half a can of friskies shreds wet food when I wake up in the morning. I feed Walter perfomatrin ultra dry food and raw chicken and beef for treats. Also this one wet food you can buy but it's dumb expensive and I forget its name and it uses wild rabbit as the main ingredient. Sustainable individually hunted rabbit. Its the only treat he'll eat. As far as dry food I went through a dozen or more trying to get him off the Purina kitten chow he was raised on as a tiny boy... took me a year and that was the one he'll eat which is also really good and healthy. --- "Mr. Fatass. I don't know honestly. i spoil the shit out of Walter in so much as I researched an ideal diet for savannahs. I dont think raw meats are necessarily reccomended for most cats. As far as the dry food goes I think trying to find one that's primarily meat based with minimal stuff you can't pronounce has to be good. From what I read anything thats like 35+% protein with fats and fiber next on the nutritional chart is what you should strive for. I've scaled his daily amount back but he's still getting bigger . I might start feeding him wet food in the morning instead, but I don't know, I just want him to be healthy. Today was the 1 year date since I had to put my last cat down due to him being very sick. Jynx, aka Jimps, his previous owners, my former neighbors were going to surrender him to the humane society because when they were moving out "they couldn't bring him"... He was a senior cat with a lot of love to give, I couldn't stand to see that happen, so my ex and I took him home. My ex and I split up so he came with me and passed a few months later. He was a good boy and I hope he had a good end to his poor life. Here is happy Winston --- Jerry, it's Frank Costanza!!! He's been carrying it around and when he bites it it flips back and hits his ears and I guess thats pretty fun.
