You know how they took the idea of the Start Screen from Windows 8, and turned it into an updated start menu in Windows 10 that's actually really good?

Looks like for Windows 11, they're going "fuck that, just go back to the original start screen but shove it in a box".

Thought it looked like trash until I saw you can left align the taskbar still. Havent seen the whole vid, hoping you can opt for a more classic start menu too.

I really just want a smoother Windows 10. Im used to it, and it works.

Mark my words, 11 will be the new 8, which was the new ME.

Wasn't the idea about 10 that it would be the last version you'd need? You'd just get updates (no matter how massive) and it'd all be good. The idea of having windows 3.1, 95, 98, etc was over, just one windows now, with updates.

Lol. This made my day.

Linux doesn't have any good DEs.

Gnome is polished but inflexible. KDE is sensory overload. Xfce is lightweight but bolted together. And tiling window managers are just lol.
