For anyone curious, these are the ones I saw at that quick little list at the end of it: Vormir, Asgard, Sakaar, Titan, Hala, and Xandar. All the rest of the bombed events were just places on Earth. None of the dates given seem to match up with the respective movies. The closest is Asgard at 2004, about six years before the Thor movie. So Lady Loki (Enchantress?) isn't directly erasing major MCU events.

theoretically, the minutemen could still fix it. maybe. the charges got explained, but i don't think the explanation holds up to what happened there at the end. gonna have to watch this one again tomorrow.

I doubt it. They said there's a red line where they can no longer reset it. She set off dozens, if not hundreds of them. Even if they fix some, they can't get them all.

The screen showed they were all about to redline. I'm sure they get some, but it looks like they're still fucked.

I'm not sure how the agents would even fix it though. It's not a matter of getting rid of a variant and erasing a branch, it's the Sacred Timeline having shit erased all over it.

this is kinda what the second half of my post was trying to get at. the way the charges got explained, they shouldn't do anything in the sacred timeline. but they clearly did, so... shit. fixing it definitely might be a bigger problem. but, if the minutemen are mobilizing, i'm assuming they have something they can do.

I think the TVA was being overly euphemistic when they say it just resets the timeline. Loki's right when he says it disintegrates everything around it. It uses the same effect as the Minutemen's batons and there's been no equivocating about what they do.

but it wasn't burning everything. only the stuff that was out of place. but nothing should be out of place in the sacred timeline.

unless they're reprogrammable, which we might learn later.

Yeah, but the stuff that's out of place is everything in that area. I don't think the reset bombs actually search and get rid of specific things, they just set them off and let them erase that entire area.

they aren't erasing everything. the ground was 100% not changing. i don't think the tent did, either, but i can't remember for sure.

I'm thinking she's trying to stop apocalyptical events and destroy the pre-destiny control the TVA has on people.

Pretty sure that Richard E Grant will turn out to be future Loki, when he shows up in the series. Im certain that female Loki/Enchantress will turn out to be working with an actual Loki variant

Okay, so that's almost definitely not Lady Loki then. She's credited simply as "The Variant" in the credits, taken along with our Loki's comment of "I'd never treat me like this." and The Variant's "This isn't about you." at the big reveal would all seem to add up to something else going on.

And I'm thinking this probably isn't going to end up with a multiverse if they're doing the mass branching of the timeline this early. Maybe some extra branches Doctor Strange has to take care of and maybe where we'll find Billy and Tommy, but nothing like bringing in the X-Men or a Spider-Verse. They'll probably mostly clean it up by the series' end, and our boy and the Time-Keepers will come to some form of an understanding on how to prevent this from happening again. And the final scene will be him using his new position to "invade" the Sacred Timeline through Kid Loki.
People really just need to let go of the idea there will be a MCU multiverse.

Eh. I wouldn't be so sure. We already have Alfred Molina confirming that he's playing the Spider-Man 2 version of Doc Ock in the next Spider-Man movie.

Although I do think there's a possibility the Fox X-Men Universe largely gets ignored since Marvel Studios actually has the rights to those characters, unlike the situation with Spider-Man where it's very clear Sony is entertaining the idea of a separate Spider-Man universe that's ambiguously tied with the MCU.

This was a pretty good episode. This show is great so far. The chemistry between Hiddleston and Wilson is crazy.

I'm thinking that they had to "shape" the timeline in the first place after the first multiverse war. Maybe this removed all of that.

When I saw the silhouette at the end I was like "that's definitely a female" to everyone saying it's FemLoki, I instantly thought of Enchantress myself. Loki comments on how "I wouldn't treat me like this" and even comments on he doesn't care much for the "Enchantment" spell being used.

The next Dr. Strange movie is called "Multiverse of Madness". I think this (and WandaVision) are setting that movie up

I'm curious to see how it plays out. But I'd also want to know why the TVA was absolutely convinced it was a Loki when it isn't. I guess they could try and explain it away as it just seemed "Loki'ish" and Loki has one of the largest variant numbers ever.

They've been blatantly hinting at it for years. They have two movies coming up CONFIRMED to involve the multiverse, as well as the what if show that is probably going to be based off that.

Given that they went out of their way to confirm Loki is gender fluid, this is definitely looking like a female loki situation.

Because if only slight variations cause them to correct the timeline and remove whatever it is that caused the variance, I dont see how it makes sense that all the versions of Loki they have run into are so different. They should all be the same Loki, more or less, shouldnt they?

I read a theory that says Kang is actually the time keepers and he cut off the sacred timeline from the rest of the multiverse to keep control of his timeline and any other branches are naturally occurring branches that the TVA prunes before a full on other universe is established

Yeah, that seems weird. Alternate reality Lokis make sense if the timelines are actually developing past a couple of minutes.

Otherwise, it's the same Loki we know and then he goes down an altered timeline, where's he's immediately caught. He wouldn't have enough time to become all those versions we see because it's just a branch of our main timeline.

Also I rewatched the episode and caught the Sylvie thing I mentioned earlier. Loki looks at a incident report from 1908 where the field was burned. The Loki variant is listed as Sylvie Laufeydottir. So I guess they're trying to misdirect with the name by combing both.
