Im gonna post my OPINIONS and VIEWS at this current time. I hope it doesnt rattle anyone because it isnt meant to whatsoever. If it does, just let me know and I wont DO it again. I try to stay as far away from politics as I can, usually.
I really want to support him, tbh. I do.
When he was commander in chief, I respected that position to the fullest extent. My peers ridiculed me for it, as a matter of fact. I still have respect, even if I entirely disagree with some of his points. He was the president. Without a president, the system doesnt work. Some republicans were even able to get me to agree to disagree and even change my mind on certain things. I mean, maybe the system could work without a president. I dont know!
but it isnt those principals of the Republicans that bother me
I would vote for the guy if he werent so.... you know. I think hes really really mean. Theres a saying about big sticks that come to mind. Actually, I gained a much better understanding of politics from listening to the debates surrounding his presidency and came to respect the Republican Party so much more.
That is very strange for me, because I was not a fan of the reigning Republican President at the time. Simply because I dont like the sort of behavior he inspires in voters, I disagree with putting him in office. I was on the fence about impeachment because quite frankly... its none of my business. Im a voter, not a legislative official.
Its his behavior more than anything that I dont agree with, and Im not sure he brings anything special to the table to make up for it.
I think a president should be pure & inspiring. Kind. Honest. I dont see those qualities in many politicians and i certainly dont see them in Mr. Trump. Make America Great Again and Build the wall are not my cup of tea. What president doesnt want America to be great?? What president doesnt want to quell illegal immigration??? If he went more bipartisan and less Twitter, I would reconsider my vote.
We live in a democratic republic. In my opinion ~ if he wants to change the system, that needs to be made clear. If not, well of course Im totally out of participation. See how that works? Like I said, Im a civilian 100%. Im not in the military. Im not a politician. I dont work for the government directly beyond a few local politics things (Ive canvassed and recruited, and participated in some hospice for the homeless)
I mean.................
like........... *sigh*.......... if he really believes the election was stolen or if it was stolen, I get it. Id be upset too. It is what it is. Maybe, you know, if it happened... its a problem. But is his quarrel even with the American people at this point? Lots of folks I know are happy with Biden, more or less. I do not view Mr. Trump as the problem, as a matter of fact. Without the peoples support for his rhetoric and policies, he wouldnt have the presidency at all. Isnt that how that works?
So, I look to those voters and I just have to wonder.... what were they really trying to do? I just wonder....... Are they good? Do they really think they are good? Sometimes I just dont know........
But theres such thing as double-jeopardy. If they have taken it before the courts, and innocence was determined, then it is over, right? Beyond doing what is asked of me, and speaking my mind a little (moreso in private than anything), I stay out of it. This country existed before me, and has been through so much. If you elected me leader, and I lost my 2nd term, I might run again, or I might just drop it altogether ~ enjoying the rest of my days under the protection of the secret service.
honestly, I dont understand why he wants the office so bad. Does he love his country so much? Etc
If so, run again. If your cause is just, Im sure you have a chance at the very least. Same goes for democrats & independents.
like, when they legalized marijuana in some places, I wanted that.. I thought it was cool... but i dont particularly care lol. I wasnt involved in the movement whatsoever beyond attending one rally, in which I was much more interested in learning about what ibogane does. That was in like 2009 lol. I am not really into politics.....
They scare the heck out of me.
Let me recant. I do find parts of his approach extremely inspiring. I am entertained by him as well, but coming from someone who likes to get a little dramatic & trigger some harmless controversy myself here & there (mostly over Dark Souls lore lol) ~ I think he took the whole thing way too far, evidenced by the radical behavior of his following. When I was younger, I did things exactly like that actually and it got me in boatloads of trouble.
and by the way, I am deeply sorry in advance if anything in this message was written in error of any nature. I am always reassessing myself. Arent you?
Soul searching for my inner-flaws is my bread & butter. It is when we believe that no room for improvement exists, that we fall into the age old dilemma of hubris & pride. When one believes they can truly do no wrong, I think thats the most dangerous thing in the world. Logic goes out the window & gives way to instinct & impulsiveness.
Cheers, CE
TL:DR?
