Maybe Prime Day next monday will yield fruit?

Or is it just refreshing walmart/target/best buy/etc. and hoping they come back in stock

follow wario64 on twitter, he usually lets people know when stores/websites are being restocked. Also, don't be afraid to look at unconventional stores like Lawtons/Shoppers up here in Canada. Some of them actually stock electronics and since not as many people know about them doing that, there is a greater chance of you actually getting what your looking for.

Follow Wario64 on Twitter. Walmart is probably your best shot at getting a PS5. Ive gotten two PS5 systems from there without any trouble.

wario64 and you'll probably have the must luck with a bundle. I actually got a decent bundle from gamestop with demon souls, spiderman, and an extra controller. also get all you store accounts updated so you can actually check out fast.

If you're fine with a bundle it's pretty easy to get it from Gamestop. You have like a 20 minute window to be able to snag one

For everything else you need to believe in the heart of the cards

Not to derail this topic, but I know XBox X/S isn't selling as well. But it seems to be sold out everywhere as well.

This is why I went with a bundle

Got my first heads up on a discord server and got mine that way (checkout didn't happen until ~15 minutes after the drop started) but I've seen two other Gamestop drops just from randomly checking twitter for a friend. Being stuck with MLB The Show 21 was a small price to pay for peace of mind

Bundles are great in that you have a 10 minute window instead of a 1 minute window, and all it's going to cost you is like an extra $220 on top of the console price because Gamestop won't sell you a PS5 without an extra controller, a gift card, some MLB game, and another game you may not have even wanted. Such a deal!

I used the gift card on Miles Morales which was actually 2 games both of which I wanted, not seeing the problem with having a second controller for visitors or when my parents visit and my dad and I can play sports games like we did before I left for college (or if I kill it myself since I've gone through 3 Xbox 360 controllers just on PC since 2012), and Returnal was another game I wanted

So yeah MLB The Show was the literal only bad thing about the bundle. Great deal and quick purchase

Also if you see the above post the Gamestop windows are more than 10 minutes but this is sounding just like frustration on your end and a personal problem

Yeah, follow the Twitter trackers and turn on notifications. Also try to keep track of when drops are expected, so they don't catch you off guard. Case in point, Walmart had PS5's in stock at midnight PST last night/this morning. I'm sure tons of people missed that.

It will likely take a while, but don't get discouraged. That's how I finally got one.

Seriously, new PS5s are only sold a few times a year, and the minimum requirements for applying are very steep. Even so, hundreds apply, but only a few are selected.

^ Following that guy with alerts turned on is how I got mine. It took a while but eventually it worked out. He's pretty on point and sends alerts at all times during the day and night.

Get lucky.

I got mine when walmart was announcing drops. First time I couldn't check out but it was in my cart. When they did the next drop it was in my cart so I was able to save a few clicks. Now I can play ps4 games with faster load times!
