I'm having flashbacks to an argument with my then girlfriend.
Watching one of those damned ghost hunting shows and they're going mad about "Orbs".
I got a camera, a lamp, a cushion. Started filming, turned on the lamp, punched the cushion... Oh look.. 'Ghosts' floating in front of the camera.
Slept back to back that night..

I dont really believe in ghosts anymore but I think animals wouldn't tend to stay behind because they are more at peace by their very nature. Mostly only humans have hangup that would make them restless spirits

Usually cause its in the dark, at night, or on someones security camera.

Most cases are experienced in person or through an audio recording device. Cameras are harder to prove.

I have a passing interest in the shows. I don't particularly believe them, but they can be interesting. I have come up with a few "reality checks" though.

1. Are ghost only active a night?
2. How do we know electronic devices are measuring what the ghost chasers say they are?
3. If you really want to find tormented spirits, why not a slave plantation?

Everyone does not have their own reasoning for things. That's bullshit modern Internet culture has corrupted people with. There is one correct, factual , scientific explanation for anything and any other conclusion is wrong. Do we have some hard science on ghosts? Did you have multiple previous encounters with ghosts that formed a general template of how these things operate? You can't just go "I have no idea how to explain something rationally, so I'll just pick whatever and blame that." That's not how the world works.

Why would you want it to be ghosts? Why would you be okay with not having some hard answers? How does that satisfy anyone?
