He's been stretchered off. Hopefully he will be ok.

That Christian Eriksen incident was horrible to watch. I was standing with a bunch of fans and the atmosphere was so intense. When they revealed he was okay and awake... what a time to be alive.

It was absolutely what made us lose the match though and it might very well cost us the tournament too. We were dark horses to go far, it's a solid Danish team, but our play on the other side of the incident was shattered. Simon Kjr was substituted because he wasn't mentally stable on top of everything, and he had been a champ and a fantastic captain during the incident. I'm still shocked the game was finished today and not tomorrow.

The fan atmosphere the rest of the game wasn't there. It was the 200 people from Finland you could hear, not the 16K from Denmark. It was just a big relief he is alive.

Don't give up hope mate. Go into the next one with the crowd fully behind you against Belgium and a point will set you up nicely for a final showdown with Russia.

We were always a threat to Belgium too, we took points from them in Copenhagen in the fall too, but I think the spirit depends a lot on how things go with Eriksen. Not to mention he was a pretty vital part of why we the team has been working so well to begin with.

Pundits saying they didn't rate the performance but I disagree. It wasn't dynamite or electric and you didn't rip Croatia apart but keeping a clean sheet was a big deal and I thought the efficiency was through the roof. England looked very well organized. I was super impressed with a few performances (Phillips, Mings) despite being underwhelmed by Kane up top.
