That is not a Mustang, that is an abomination and Ford should be ashamed of themselves for putting this.....thing under the Mustang name. This is worse than the early-80s when they introduced the fox body and turned the Mustang into an economy car.

I saw a video the other day of someone driving an electric car.
At the midpoint of their journey they had to 'fill up'
In a normal car, it takes 10 minutes maybe. In the electric car, he had to sit there for over an hour and pay for the privelege. It added over an hour to his journey and it put me off owning any electric car.

Those bastards need to get around to making Ford Nucleon be a thing already.

For electric, it is better to charge the car to around 80% if using charging stations and also start charging at around 10% instead of near empty for faster charging. The last 20% is usually at a much slower charging speed. The new Korean EVs coming out, and some Tesla go from 10% to 80% in about 15 mins on fast charging stations. If you have somewhere to charge your car all the time (home or work) than charging/range is not an issue except for road trips.

Well, for one, you won't be sitting there charging it all the way to 100%, just enough to get you home or wherever you're going. Second, most people charge their car at home overnight and don't ever really use the outdoor charging stations except during road trips (the home adapter costs like 500 bucks)

At least that was built to be an electric car, the Mustang is supposed to be a muscle car.

They even said they based the Mach-E on the Mach 1, which was a beautiful fastback Mustang and not an ugly soccer mom looking SUV

The mustang always had an economy option. I really dont want to defend the fox body mustang because I dont care for them in the first place, but the first generation has a straight 6, the Mustsng II looked like a secretary's car, and the later v6 was still just as much of a dog..

Plus the fox body had the SVO which was the EcoBoost mustang 25 years before turbo pony cars became cool again.

The fox body might as well have only had economy options with the early 80s "four-eyes" version, even the 5.0 was pitifully underpowered. They got better only after the '85.5 SVO (the earlier SVOs were trash though)

They should've put it under the Thunderbird name instead. Some people might have still been mad, but it goes better with the electric powertrain, like with the new Ford Lightning EV truck.
