All of the themes in one convenient link! I might let these run for a couple days just because it's a lot to ask everyone to listen to all the songs at once. I'm going to have to cut options from the poll some days since there are more than 10 themes in some cases. Hopefully it won't make anyone upset...! I'm also including Great Ace Attorney songs here since it's not spoiling anything for those who haven't played them yet (and for the record, most GAA2 themed songs are just remixes of GAA1 songs, so you're not missing anything from that video not including it!).

Personal rankings: DD > PW1 > GAA > AJ > SoJ 1 > Layton 2 > SoJ 2 > Layton 1 > T&T > JFA

It's tough to beat PW1's just because it's so memorable and catchy, but I think I do slightly prefer DD's here.

I'm not an AA1 purist when it comes to music by any stretch of the imagination, but in this case I don't think any of the later games surpassed the memorability of the first.

I don't like the Layton remix of 1 at all. The rest are varying levels of good and I don't have super strong opinions.

My ranking from favourite to least:

AJ
SoJ 2
Layton 2
AA
T&T
JFA
SoJ 1
DD
GAA
Layton 1

The top 4 really stand out from the others in particular for me. I think the original AA, along with AJ and the "USA/Japan-side" SoJ prelude really nail the feeling that I want/expect from a court lobby theme. Love them.

And yeah wtf is with Layton 1. By far my least favourite.

the two AA6 ones seem really dull

i like all of the first 3 and the layton remix of the first (why the hate!)

layton's second is neat too

voting aa3, but don't feel too strongly about these themes. will feel even less strongly for the opening court theme, lol

tgaa2's theme may just be rearrangement of tgaa1's but it's a marked improvement... not that there's really a huge gap between these really save for layton 1

This is tough, but I'd go

T&T > AJ > AA > SOJ 2 > who cares

I remember JFA's music being used in the courtroom for some scenes in T&T. The main one that sticks out is Mia telling Phoenix to tell the truth in 3-1. It works really well as like a more subdued Tell the Truth. Doesn't work as well as a courtroom lobby. It's a little too grand and solemn.

I think DD and SOJ really nail the Courtroom Lobby mood. DD's a little more optimistic and SOJ's a little more dark.

I'm always a sucker for the instrumentation used for Khura'in.

I like how dramatic JFA's sounds. Gives the upcoming courtroom scenes a bit more gravitas.

Yeah, I figured I'd start with the lobby theme because it's probably the one people care least about among the major recurring themes (along with the Court Begins themes, which will be next!).

And yeah, if you're a "music spoiler" person, you can just skip ahead on the video. The GAA soundtracks are pretty good!

I feel like the first four games are all great in their own way. AA's got the nice VI(M7) chords and works well within AA"s relatively "light" soundtrack, JFA's is real dark plus has a cool rhythmic displacement, and T&T's is full of suspenseful anticipation, and AJ also has some of that suspenseful anticipation with those cool piano chords and groovy bass patterns. Probably gonna go with AJ's here.

I like JFA's the best for usage outside of an actual lounge... the way it gets used in 3-4 is flat out amazing.
