GQP wants to regulate a website for being mean, but when their power grid in Texas goes down, all Texas can think about is passing abortion laws. And just ignoring that ISPs are basically monopolies themselves.

But no, Google is mean to conservatives and thats the important stuff.

This is as stupid as trying to regulate a power company. Private companies should be free to do what they want, because that is how they'll best provide for the customer

There are 9, with the newest one being a Japan exclusive free to play mobile game that is (to my knowledge) no longer available. The last PROPER Wild ARMs we got was 5 back on the PS2 in 2006. We're more than due for a new game in the series.

Weren't paying attention to the reason why Google Fiber didn't catch on? The big name ISPs all blocked and lobbied against Google Fiber's development across the nation. There needs to be some regulation to prevent oligarchies from strongarming and stagnating their industries in their lust to maintain their top rank.

I'm guessing that's what they're intending to refer to, but by saying "the tech giant [Google] needs to be regulated as a public utility," that includes Google Fiber.

Hasn't AT&T since bought some of those all over again, too? I know in my experience of working with AT&T, they were essentially functioning as if those baby bells were part of their company again.

Ohio's AG got the idea from noted technology expert Clarence Thomas btw.

I do believe that at some level, internet things should be regulated somewhat like a public utility. A truly modern person can't really get by without the internet these days, for better or worse.

Just not anything regulated by Republicans or else we'll get shit like the Texas power crisis. Race to the bottom, corner cutting, environmental racism, cutthroat tactics and bottom dollar goals. Screwjobs of the poor, middle class and minorities will be thrown in for free.
