On my old one I just double tapped the round button and it showed them all and could close them

Drag up from the bottom of the screen to mid-screen and all of your apps will appear. Then just scroll through and swipe up to close them

Default keyboard is fucking trash tbh, I havent switched back to Swiftkey yet but just cuz Im lazy. I hate this keyboard and its predictive text. In discord, the fucking return key is on the numeric section! Its outrageous, I need to switch, I hate it so much

Same. I switched to iPhone when the XR came out. Now I have the 12 Max Pro. I HATE the default keyboard but I'm too lazy to change it. Any suggestions fam?

Nah not yet, I used Swiftkey for Android for 7 years and I never had any issues with it but I havent even looked to see if that one is available on iOS yet

I just use Gboard on my 12 Pro. I like it.

You shouldnt be closing apps. Break that habit. Force closing all your apps hurts your battery life and slows the phone down for no reason. At least on iPhone, its very good about resource management, and you forcing the app to close forces the phone to reopen it when you next use it.

I also used to work at Apple and it was the number one thing I had to tell people when they complained about battery life. Every time you force close the app, you need to reopen it later. That uses more resources than simply leaving it open. The phone knows if you dont use an app often and will do resource management in the background to deal with it.

Modern phone gestures are so crappy and unintuitive. Pull up from the bottom of the screen. Swipe down from the top of the screen, except it depends on if you do it from the left or right of the ugly notch. These gestures suck

Am I the only one who actually likes the Apple keyboard? Across platforms, its the most accurate for me and its best at correcting the mistakes Im prone to make. With or without swiping, Im much faster with it than other keyboards. Oddly, I dont miss the haptic feedback from Android, though I leave it turned on when I use an Android phone. And the space bar trick is killer.

The stock Apple keyboard doesn't have the numbers row fixed at the top, so it's always going to suck for me. Fortunately, it's one the few things Apple will let you change on the device.

once you get past that, it all makes sense and is seemless. makes you wonder how you put up with anything else
