And this is Houston, Texas for starts. They started by putting portable units in my apartment unit, and this basically keeps the temperature at 83 degrees on average instead of 90 during peak temperature times. Every time I go to them they say they are working on it and mention the portable units. My apartment complex is owned by a corporation too, so I am thinking of sending a nasty letter to the corporate office.

The weather here has been cooler than normal for the past week and I don't work from home anymore. However, I couldn't study at my apt this weekend and fruit and stuff goes bad pretty quickly.

it was 82 degrees in my apt with the units running, the bathroom and anywhere where they aren't is bad

It keeps cool at night, but when the temperature outside is over 85 degrees then it doesn't do much

You can get one that will keep a single room pretty much as cold as you want for a couple hundred, if it's worth it.
