pasta I like to keep the heat on a bit after the pasta is done and add olive oil and a little bit of the pasta water. The starch in the water mixes with the oil as the water itself cooks off and makes it significantly better, especially with garlic... even garlic powder as opposed to fresh garlic works well. Definitely better than just having oily pasta. Once I heard of that little trick, I never went back. --- "I just thought you knew something I didn't..." "I did know something I didn't!
