I think hollow knight might be too hard for me lmao. I spent like 45 minutes trying to beat a boss (Hornet). And now I'm in a room where I need to use my nail to bounce off spiky walls and even though I've seen videos on how to do it, I cannot get the timing right.

i also feel like I still don't know what's going on haha.

it is fun, though! Beating a room is a good feeling, and I love the music and art and atmosphere. Just maybe too difficult for me.

Hollow Knight's bosses are challenging but fair. Some seem tricky at first, but become much more manageable when you learn their patterns (and in many cases, they can be dealt with easier using certain power-ups).

I believe you can come back to the spike-pogo spot later also. The game is very non-linear. If you hit a spot where you're having trouble progressing, feel free to leave and return later (the map markers you can buy in Dirtmouth are helpful)

Bioshock is probably less of an investment than Hollow Knight, which can be stressful at times. Depends on what you're in the mood for.

IDK about the others.

The game really never makes you do very tough platforming so if it seems like you do, you can probably come back later with double jump and easily get through. The exception being the optional "path of pain" which is awesome and a very difficult platforming challenge.
