just an fyi, this game has a weapon called JET BOOTS. they are boots. with a jet engine and a sword on them. and you use them to fly around and kick enemies to death. if that doesn't sell you on a game i don't know what will

all of your cosmetics remain between games

AND

gender no longer exists, so you have complete freedom in dressing however you want with any character (and you can choose whatever voice and body type you want)

seeing quite a few vtuber streams, notably almost all from ff14 players

also seeing more people playing it than 100%oj in my steam friend list which is rare considering like three quarters of my friend list is from that game (and even more impressive considering a new update and event for oj happened yesterday)

i'm tempted to pick it back up myself but i just don't have the space currently...

So will my characters' other outfits transfer over? Right now all it's showing is my 2B costume.

Finally started up the game. Sheesh is it ugly on an original Xbone lol. I've got a Series X arriving on the 22nd and it can't get here soon enough!

Got my Series X in much earlier than anticipated! So I've only run around the game for like 10 minutes but holy shit it's like night and day. Perfect buttery smooth 60 fps, the graphics are nice and clear and I can tell what I'm looking at, they're not slightly shifting with every move of the camera, and it just feels a bit tighter too. Well worth the $900, anything for PSO! T_T

the world is open and the zones are huge. it's an actual MMO now, not the hybrid thing the original was doing

yeah I was playing with someone in the US and they can't get in to the JP server anymore. Killed the game for me

granted, equipment doesn't really transfer to NGS (you can bring it over but it gets outclassed pretty quick). Still, losing fashion would hurt so much, especially since NGS doesn't have much of its own yet

i always wondered that too. it's not just a sega thing; lots of places there are super restricting about their region. does the japanese internet in general get a shitton of weebs using google translate infesting the place or something?
