Like, I've had legit jobs other people are jealous of and just gone into a downward spiral because I was like "** this, you guys don't want to lay me off with severance? You're gonna learn today where you went wrong...." So, Kojima just saying it and going over budget on MGS 5 is funny to me. And when you go back and look at how he was literally telling everyone since MGS2 "Guys, I am DONE with Snake. It's time to move on!" it makes the whole thing kind of fascinating. On the other hand, if there wasn't so much demand for the series, we never would have gotten MGS 2 and 3, which are legit works of art. And for all the crap that MGS4 did from a story telling perspective, there's a lot of fun fan service in it. So, to a point it's good to push artists.
