I'm pretty sure it was a lab leak and I don't think that means it was intentional however. The genealogy of how they were describing the virus always seemed strange. Why would a bat bit a pangolin or even vice versa? I might be ignorant but it seems highly unlikely an animal that flies at night would ever come into contact with a land creature, even moreso when it involves whatever specific two creatures to even carry the disease. And then we are supposed to accept that the meat market food wasn't cooked to a temp to kill the disease once it was consumed? Again I am not fully aware of if the original strain could have even been cooked out of the infected meat or it spread to other pangolins and then that caused it, it just seems strange overall.

The Wet Markets would potentially have both of those animals there together alive. So the potential to infect one another and/or human butchers is not out of the question.

This isn't.

Trump was critiziced for blaming China for the Deathrates in the US which were entirely caused by his awful handling of covid and constant lying, downplaying and misinformation that resulted (and still results) in millions of people getting sick and tens of millions downplaying the entire pandemic.

The actual rollout of the vaccine was one of the few things Trump was praised for. It was just too little too late in terms to how badly he handled the crisis on every concievable level for months and months on end.

I'm not so sure. Of all the bullshit they have said over the past few years FINALLY one of the things MIGHT be true. They will do nothing but bring this up and try to use it as proof that they are right about everything.

You're right it doesn't. If anything it should be more along the lines of "look how careless they were."

Do people not think we study viruses here in the US? If the US scientists there were more careless this could have been from the US.

Edit: These statements are assuming the virus did end up escaping from a lab. It hasn't been proven.

I'm no Trumper, but it could be biowarfare. I'm willing to bet that many countries, including the U.S., still research into that stuff. Look up "gain of function research." And if you really want to start down the rabbit hole, look up the Bill Gates funding for gain of function research on viruses.

If the lab had the virus and were working with it, I wouldn't be surprised if it were for biowarfare at all. It's totally a possibility. Either way, the main point is that it could have very well escaped from a lab via accident (or maybe on purpose?). Hopefully the investigation will result in some answers, but you know China isn't going to play ball.

I don't recall ever seeing a single scientific source outright saying it was ruled out - only, at worst, that it was the less likely explanation. That was all media (regular and social alike) and politicians.
