Once upon a time I would feel hype for games, so I would just listen to their trailers or their Nintendo Directs on repeat, and dream of the day I got the game. I don't feel this way anymore about video games. Do you?

On repeat? No, never. Watch them multiple times before launch? Usually only if they came up as a recommended video. The last game I was really hyped for was Xenoblade X, before that was probably Brawl, before that was probably Twilight Princess.
The music comparison is actually pretty apt, because if I did watch a trailer many times, it was usually more because the music was worth listening to repeatedly than anything else. --- This is my signature. It exists to keep people from skipping the last line of my posts. ... Copied to Clipboard!

By "repeat" I also count "listening to it in the background and manually hitting replay, not necessarily right away, but whenever you feel like listening to it again."

sometimes, but rarely. normally I actively try not to be hyped to avoid disappointment; rather be pleasantly surprised. really good intros I will watch often as well. (nothing literally "on repeat" though, that would kind of ruin it; at most a few times at once.)

Not often, although I'm sure there have been a couple times. The original trailers for Thief TDP come to mind.
