Kind of makes me want to make my own sandwiches at home but I'm not good at that (and I can never get mayo that tastes like what I get at sub shops; getting the wrong mayo tastes nasty).

Yeah, had it once, we got 4 giant sandwiches and it was like $66. It was pretty good, except the part where my sammich had onions on it. Really wish their site wasn't shit and told you they were going to be on there. Would've made sure to order it without.

Polar opposite for me...

They usually have a special $5 off an order of $20 or more. Also other ones if you join their club (you get free sandwiches every so often as well).

Getting to 20$ is pretty easy since most of the giant sammiches are $15.99 or so. Add 1 meat (I like the one that is an itallian but without ham, but has double all the other meats...for the same price). I add ham to it for $4 and BAM it's $20 and I get it for $15 (comes with double cheese as well).

It's a VERY full sandwich with well over a pound (I'd say a pound and a half at least) of meat in it. Double cheese as well (maybe 1/4th of a pound), all for less then I could buy the ingrediants (at least Boars head or higher quality) at the store.

To make the same sandwich myself would cost at least $25 I'd say.

Main problem is I need to be really hungry as the sandwich only lasts for about 24 hours and it's ALOT of sandwich.

They cut it into 4 parts, but each part is a full meal lol. I mean your talking about almost a pound of food per part with all the meat/condoments/bread etc. I generally eat half the first day, and half the second day.

So I get 2 full days of food for $15 or so, and it's super yummy:)

Loved freaking Togo's Meatball Subs, but for some reason they started making me sick about 15-20 years ago so I had to stop getting them.

They were so good though.

No Togos out here anyway now.

honestly, Togos is so hit and miss and it is entirely dependent management. The one I worked at was getting their bread fresh from a bakery every morning, some of the other stores in the area were ordering once every week or so and freezing the bread for the week. frozen bread on a sandwich fucking sucks

Stop judging jersey mikes prices by the price of their giant sandwich size. That is NOT meant for one person in one sitting.

Maybe that is why I started getting sick eating them. The ones in Hayward CA never made me sick, but when I moved to Gilroy CA, i would get sick every time I ate a meatball sub from there. I loved the spicy tang of the sauce/meatballs, but i think they used a pork or something in the meatballs at the one in Gilroy that I must have been allergic to or something.

Guess if i'm even back in CA I could try one somewhere else and see, but honestly if I went back there are way high priorities on my eating list over Togos lol.

Maybe their other sandwiches shouldn't be so tiny then.

They aren't? A regular at jersey mikes is as filling if not more than a footlong at subway. They have waaaay more meat on them

citation: regular number 13 (italian), mikes way + everything else (pepper relish, mayo, jalapenos, banana peppers, etc)
