Because people are getting vaccinated, but we need like 90%+ vaccinated if we want to reach herd immunity and actually beat this. We can't afford to let this linger and mutate if we want to really get back to normal.

Vaccinated people can still catch the virus but they won't develop symptoms.

Israel reached insignificant levels of cases/deaths at 60% vaccinated so... yeah you can. You have to include people who built up immunity from getting the virus as well, not just vaccinated people.

The CDC has not confirmed all variants are covered by the antibodies, or that there will be no more variants as millions of braindead fucks let the virus hang around. You can never have too many people vaccinated. We probably have enough people vaccinated against the diseases we require children to be vaccinated against, but we aren't making schools throw out their rules and wing it.
