Holy crap...if electro is this good before the buff, it's going to be insane after 1.6.

The issue people have with electro is it cannot amplify and has too many weaknesses.
So yeah, you can make Fischl, Keqing, Razor, etc amazing, but they'll likely deal more damage specced physical and they can't be on par with the likes of Diluc who can amplify damage by 1.5x or 2x.

In general, going with tier lists for what is best and what is not is a mistake anyways. All 5* main dps really stand out, even Keqing.

4 Piece: Increases Superconduct DMG by 100%. Increases Melt DMG by 15%. Using an Elemental Burst increases Cryo DMG Bonus by 30% for 10s.

Isn't this potentially far superior to Wanderer for Ganyu Melt?
I imagine Blizzard is still best for freeze tho.

xingqiu is one of the best supports in the game and works amazing with a pyro carry like HuTao, Klee or Diluc if youre lucky enough to have one of them.

He will work great with a lot of different comps, but vaporize is so strong that makes him really special with his burst.

80 EM is already the same thing as a 15% melt damage and that stacks multiplicatively with melts caused by her charged shot 35% dmg bonus in WT and EM is getting a buff. So specifically for Ganyu doing specifically a charged shot reverse melt build WT will probably still be better.

Looks like some of the early reports on YouTube suggest that Eula has got some Ganyu-level broken maths.

Still not sure I'm going to roll, I need more evidence than just a couple videos.

Sounds like a lot of people in Asia aren't happy with Eula. General consensus is that her DPS is wildly inconsistent, and it's unclear when she is ready to use her E and Q. A common theme is that she becomes melee Ganyu at C6, but rolling for C6 on a five star is ludicrous.

Yeah, I am 50/50 on pulling for Eula. I am guaranteed her in 20ish pulls, so I either pull for her, or I don't. I have Ganyu already, which is nice. I dunno if I need another ice type, but I am aware too she's more physical DPS, so.....eh. Very torn. Will see if people think she is worth it before I deside to waste my pity here.

If they're going to release a whale-centric DPS, they should do it like Tartaglia, where at C0 he's still really fucking great, but the later QOL adds unga bunga for the whales.

I've decided that since I'm 60 pulls into my pity and I'm on my 50/50 I'll attempt to pull for her. If she's not the first 5 star I get I'm stopping and saving for Kiryu.

I'd be more surprised if we got the entire Izazuma storyline all at once tbh. It was fine with Mondstadt because the game was new and the story was AR-gated. But now that most players are around the 50 range that's not gonna work.

It's extremely likely Mihoyo will keep releasing Inazuma in, like, Dragonspine-sized (or bigger) chunks, update by update.
People complain way too much about having no new content, and you know how opportunistic Mihoyo is.
.
I'm also thinking we will get a large-scale redesign of character gears / levels / talents, because otherwise we just wreck the shit out of Inazuma in a few days, +10 or +20 levels won't change much when it comes to the power of AR55+s and we wouldn't be able to pay for lv80-100 if the hero wits / mora scaling continues.

Cannot for the life of me understand why they made a really cool looking area and proceeded to gatekeep it with a stupid permafreeze mechanic. Would've made sense to apply it until your tree is upgraded to max and disable it as a reward, but nope... and the Festering Desire is no longer effective at reducing cold accumulation, either.

Watch, they'll release islands and add some kind of dehydration meter. >_>

I never understood the complaints about sheer cold at all, not even a slight bit. It really added some risk and fun to exploring Dragonspine for me.
And they do give you multiple tools to reduce the effects of sheer cold, both inside the environment and as consumable items.

I do however agree, Mihoyo should have made more use of the tree. Once you max it, why not give the players a way to permanently reduce the effects of sheer cold, to unlock every single gadget (manual campfires, mondstadt treasure compass, something to hunt the Dragonspine version of "anemocolus").

I love Dragonspine and exploring it was the most fun I had with the game, but Mihoyo missed some QoL here.

I don't remember leaks about it, so nothing like that I guess.
However, it might have some other annoying quirks (iirc water level can rise and sink, flooding the islands or revealing more parts of it? And that the system eventually stops happening once you clear something? Also, the brand-new water travel system)

And speaking of restrictions, watch as they restrict your exploration of Chasm through darkness and lamp oil. And Sumeru having a dehydration bar in the desert parts.

Im almost positive the desert area will have a heat stroke meter. Im pretty sure that was mentioned and guaranteed as a mechanic.

I actually like weather mechanics and think there should be more. But they need to put in more ways to deal with it. Breath of the Wild had different clothes you could wear to negate cold for example. There could be food that gives you cold immunity for 10 minutes or something.

It's not that the mechanic is "bad" it's that there's a wealth of game where you don't have to deal with that shit so there's no reason to go through the added stress of cold management once you hit 100% map rating to get stuff you can get literally anywhere else.

Of course there's Starsilver and Dragon Teeth but for the most part the weapons they make aren't worth sacrificing a billet on them.

I also like the weather mechanics but wish the game had given you some kind of permanent way to alleviate it. Winter clothes would have been nice... have them basically give you the goulash effect in cold areas while wearing them, with a slight decrease in movement speed. If you eat the goulash, then it could stack to make you immune to cold in regular cold areas, and have it affect you slowly in the ultra cold areas. And then in warm areas you use stamina faster.
