Curbside has totally changed me in so many ways. I'm honestly baffled just how unpopular it is still. Most times I go pick up an order there's either zero others or mayne 1 one other. It's so easy for me because I normally just get the same things every time.

For packaged stuff sure, but I like to pick out my own fresh produce, whereas the workers will just grab the first one they can, same with milk and whatnot, I make sure I pick the one with the furthest sell by date.

I liked going to the grocery store for hobby reasons as much as I did for sustenance reasons. I especially enjoyed going to different markets to look for new/special/less common ingredients I can't find online affordably, easily, or at all. Instacart added a whole bunch of stores I like (H Mart, for one) but for some reason they don't have a lot of the produce I know is there available online.

So I might be able to offer an explanation. It probably has to do with weight. Most produce is sold by weight so they're not really given a number to pick for the order. They have to pick it with in a certain range of weight based off the number of them you order. It's fucking dumb and I tried for them to show the number the customer wants. --- PSN/GT - Harley2280 ... Copied to Clipboard!

not unless it's manned by a robotThat's not fair to say necessarily. I work at a grocery store and most of the people who work there are pretty competent. Should apply to the curbside pickups too, though granted that's a new thing for our store. I hope it just means a reduction in Instacart shoppers because those guys can be pretty damn annoying.
