that's one every 3 minutes, on average. Just space it out and it's easy

I HS, as a football player I could easily do at least 3 sets of 100 in a day.

I might be able to manage 15 push ups in a day now.

I'm a 300 a day guy. Three sets of 100 throughout the day.
Been doing it since I was 11 due to Kickboxing.
Never gotten fat!

Not to hijack the thread but I though being proficient with push ups would help with dips as a teenager

No fucking way. As 17 year old, I learned the concept of "different muscle groups" the hard way.

I can do about 100 in a row, so if I just do it a couple of times throughout the day I could get 300+ easily.

Straight after you wake up. Serious. Do reps of twelve and increase each day.
Come abck to it in three hours if you can and then three hours again after that.
Eventually it just becomes a thing like brushing your teeth.
