-Released in 1994 only in Japan, it was the first Fighting game released on the console.
-Has FMV cutscenes, as was the style at the time.
-The two main characters, as well as the main villain, are digitized actresses. However, all of the other fighters are hand-drawn cartoon sprites, which clashes severely.
-You can still see the blue screen around the digitized sprites.
-The battle music for the fairy girl and the gnome guy is completely out-of-place.
-There is a long Star War-esque info dump at the start and end of the game. Despite only being released in Japan, the scroll is in English, with a Japanese voiceover translating it.
-The game ends with a "To be continued" despite there being no hints prior that the story isn't over.
-Despite the above, there were no sequels. In fact, this is the one and only game that its company ever made.

I like all the fanservice shots during the opening song. Although I see how they skipped this and sent us Battle Arena Toshinden instead which also sucked but looked cooler even though it's even more dated looking now than mo cap.
