Got my 2nd dose of Moderna today

I was kind of expecting the second shot to hit a bit harder based on what I'd heard, but the first shot was actually the worse of the two.

fwiw I had a sore arm the first time and am expecting it to kick in later today as well. but it really wasn't that bad. it's like someone punched your arm basically

also I think the sore arm is an intended effect, not a side effect. it means your immune system is responding

I just got my 2nd pfizer shot today, now I'm partway to becoming a cyborg.

Got 2nd dose yesterday. My arm hurts some which isn't bad but I've been exhausted all day. Took the day off work and have slept the majority of the time. No biggie

1st dose of Pfizer gave me fatigue for a day or two(plus the obligatory arm soreness). 2nd one locked up my muscles in my arms and back, as well as a bit of fatigue, but it only lingered for about a day.

Once I'm done with school(have a monster final project lol), I plan on actually going to the gym and doing some volunteering(hopefully at LGBTQIA+ orgs).

Getting my second Astra Zeneca on the 22th

i'm probably waiting until june though, just to be safe cause it takes like 2-3 weeks to get your immune system accustomed to the vaccine or something

You need to wait two weeks from your second dose to be fully vaccinated.

Had my second dose May 1st. No side effects from either dose, aside sore arm. Pfizer.

got my second Moderna on Tuesday.

Yesterday was fine. little sore in the arm, nothing major.

Today I feel like I was run over with a dump truck. Head swimming, sinuses clogged, fatigued, arm aching pretty fierce, just about every side effect I've seen listed, I've gotten.

Granted, I expected that. I've gotten just about every side effect of every shot or medication I've taken in my life, lol. Guess my body just hates the stuff. I'll never forget how badly malarone fucked me up when I was in Brazil a few years ago. Or the h1n1 vax, back in the day.

Note that I still always get them, by the by; I recognize the importance of it all, and encourage everyone else to get their shots, too, so don't get the wrong idea or take my complaining as some antivax BS. Just complaining about my own body being a freaking baby about this stuff, lol

For me at least, I dont think its diet.

Like I said, I've been hit by just about every side effect of every drug I've been administered my whole life. From my healthy-ish kid years, to my awful 350ibs depressed college years, to my current 180ibs highly-regulated health conscious/workout focused years.

I've run the gamut of levels of health in my life, and from my unhealthiest to current healthiest, one fact has never changed: if there's a side effect, I get it.

Got mine on Tuesday. Yesterday, I woke up in the middle of the night with my arm really sore and feeling kind of chilly. Later that day, I felt like I was hungover, and had slight aches and stiffness.

None of it was particularly bad.

Got my second Moderna dose yesterday morning, today have moderate fatigue and aches all over - basically feels like a cold without the cough or sore throat. Allergies have been pretty bad the last couple weeks too, so that's certainly contributing.

I thought it was more, if you had covid in the past then your first dose is going to hit you harder than your second. because my second moderna shot was alot less worse than the first moderna dose tbh

I have covid back in late December into late January and got my Pfizer shots within the last month. I didn't have any adverse side effects other than some soreness at the site of the injection on the 1st shot and much less soreness on the 2nd shot.

In around 4.5 hours from now I'll be a full 2 weeks from my second shot. Feels great, I had a headache for a couple days but it wasn't anything a Tylenol couldn't handle.

Got both Pfizer shots. The first one didn't do much to me, my arm only hurt like a day. The second one made me feel a bit bad like 8 hours after taking it, but I'd say by 24 hours after getting the second dose I was feeling pretty much normal again.

My symptoms for the second shot were increased arm soreness compared to the first shot, slightly elevated temperature but not quite a fever, feeling weak in my legs, and my armpit area hurt a bit. My neck hurt a bit too, but I might have just layed on it wrong.
