I live in the Appalachians basically. Small town in them. And I'm a block from the Appalachian Trail. It's a really really pretty area, but I want to see the Rockies in person and see some real mountains.
Edit: And forever ago the Appalachians were as big as the Rockies. It's crazy to think about. --- "No. I'm a man so theyll get me a full size McDouble." - DuncanWii https://imgur.com/cSxy3Od ... Copied to Clipboard!

These are within a couple miles of my house but it's part of/close to the AT in PA. Edit: I live in the town seen in the first picture. It's a really really pretty area, but I want to see the Rockies in person and see some real mountains. PA has some of the smallest mountains in the range. I think the highest peak in PA is a mere 3,200 feet? Try coming down to WV if you can, we have peaks of 4,850 ft. Small compared to rockies but if you can get a view of base to summit 1,800 - 4,850 ft it looks huge. Much bigger than a hill. North Carolina has the highest peak on the east coast at almost 6,700 feet if you want to go a lot bigger. Only part of the southeast that can see snow in July. ... Copied to Clipboard!
