-GalacticBass- 05/05/21 1:53:52 AM #1:	Growing up, most of my friends were all about Mario Kart 64. But to me, Mario Kart 64 was just discount Diddy Kong Racing. The amount of content it had in comparison was huge. My brother and I spent countless hours playing co-op story mode collecting all of those freaking silver coins and trying to unlock all the secrets. The music is vastly superior and the battle modes had more variety than Mario Kart. Mario Kart was one of those racing games where I was like "oh...I guess I can play an inferior racing game". It wasn't until I learned how to snake in Mario Kart DS that I actually got engaged in a Mario Kart game. I remember getting Diddy Kong Racing simply cause it had a Kong in it and enjoying the game but I don't remember thinking it was any better than Mario Kart or vice versa.
