Conservatives value freedom for THEM to do what they want, they don't care about freedoms for other people unless they have a personal stake in it.

They are all for smaller government and less involvement in our lives until Debra wants to get an abortion or Joey wants to relax with a joint after work.

I genuinely believe that a large portion of registered Republicans are probably not all that extremist, but the problem is that the information bubble sphere that they have created has allowed fascism and misinformation to run rampant, and due to high party loyalty, combined with a lack of reporting within their misinformation sphere, the radicals can do whatever they want without question.

It was only a little over 5 years ago that gay marriage was legalized, by an extremely narrow 5-4 decision in the Supreme Court where 1 Republican sided with the 4 Democrats. Almost all of the Republicans who were vehemently fighting the battle against gay rights are still in office. If it wasn't legalized at that moment in the SC it'd still be illegal in some states. The only reason it's not a boogie man anymore is because they lost the war and would rather sidle away and hope everyone just forgets about it. And really they just moved on to trans instead of gays and continued the war there anyway.

There is no such thing as a moderate Republican voter, they are all extremely right on the political spectrum. They also vote solely on social issues, something they routinely accuse Democrats of doing.

Some of the Republican politicians are like this but most are only interested in enriching themselves and their donors and pretend to care about social issues to get elected.

Things Republican voters are in favor of include:
-Arming the borders and killing people trying to cross illegally
-Outlawing abortion with no exceptions
-Obliterating the separation of church and state (only for Christianity of course)
-The death penalty
-Defunding all social programs they dont use
-Not taxing the rich or corporations
-Not holding police accountable for murder
-Arresting protestors if they dont agree with their message
-Killing protestors if they dont agree with their message

Democrats have actual goals they want to accomplish and explain how they intend to pay for it, which is by taxing the rich and corporations. Republican voters making 30k a year throw their bootlicking face in front of the bullet.

Republicans spend more while in office, grow the debt more when in office and only give a shit about debt when a democrat is in the White House, those are facts not up for debate

They're obsessed with freedom for conservatism, white people, Christians, cops, and especially the rich. The rest of us are expected to be good little peons who should follow orders.

I do know right wingers who are fine with gay people, but only when it's a friend/relative and usually they shit talk behind their backs anyway. They're fine with getting high when they themselves do it too. Some minority though, not a chance. Just like how abortion is 100% evil until it's their wives, daughters or their mistresses that get pregnant.
