Instead of continuing on to the next exit he came to a complete stop and attempted to go back and get the exit still. We ended up getting rear ended by a big ass Ford Pickup truck which sent us up over the island dividing the exit and the road we were on and landed on the other side. My neck and back were completely screwed. Had a couple months of physical therapy which helped. I still experience a bit of lower back pain from it though. Wish I could have gotten more money but I didn't feel like dragging it out. Worst part was my lawyer went after the guy who rear ended us and not Lyft or my driver. Sadly after her lawyer took his cut and taxes, it was only $380,000 but it was still a damn lot. You really screwed up, she bought a lake home, and two brand new vehicles with the money. My neck and back were completely screwed. Had a couple months of physical therapy which helped. I still experience a bit of lower back pain from it though. Wish I could have gotten more money but I didn't feel like dragging it out. Worst part was my lawyer went after the guy who rear ended us and not Lyft or my driver. Which was total garbage because it wasn't even the dudes fault Wow that's fucked up, what happened to the lyft driver?
