We dont have affordable health care because some people have difficulty with math and think it would cost too much, besides that it is because there is good incentive to fuck over and abuse citizens for financial gain and the laws are written in such a way to make that possible and ensure it continues, because the people who profit from robbing you are the same ones who pay to have certain laws made.

the definition of "whiteness" is completely arbitrary. italians and irish people weren't always considered "white" in the US. if the ruling class weren't able to use race to prevent class solidarity, whiteness would probably be redefined to exclude them again. it could also be applied to any number of other ethnicities).

either that or they'd double down on some other scapegoat

Its always been a class issue. It was easy to disguise it as a race issue when White America intentionally kept Black America down and poor. I'd give an example of the words and logic they'd use but it'd be racist as shit and I don't want to be modded

Yes, it's well studied that there's more redistributive policies in polities that are more homogeneous

Its especially funny (in a haha we live in hell world haha kind of way) because all research done into universal healthcare shows that it would actually save us a ton of money.
