Which company do you think it was? Konami and SEGA seem like the most likely candidates based on what the video lays out, making a stronger case for SEGA. But personally, I'm leaning more towards Konami. That might just be personal bias though.

A good point, but this did happen back when they still had a working relationship with Kojima (a small part of me wonders if the developer in question may be Kojima himself). And their heavy involvement in pachinko and Japanese gambling, especially their recent refocus on it, is precisely why they'd be more willing to involve yakuza.
