BettyWhite 04/25/21 9:37:28 PM #36:	Animatronic Goro was cooler than CGI Goro. I liked the new movie.. The sets were cool.. Kano was amazing.. Jax was cool.. Fights were generally cool. Critical nerd side says it was rushed and we needed another half hour to explore the characters. Very much relied on our prior attachment to said characters. I very much did not care for Liu Kang or Shang Tsung.. Perhaps partially because as a kid I adored both actors in their '95 roles. Liu Kang just seemed like a neutered bitch ans Shang Tsung wasn't half as intimidating as he was in the original. Sonya was better than Annihilation Sonya but not '95 Sonya. Liu Kang just seemed like a neutered bitch ans Shang Tsung wasn't half as intimidating as he was in the original. Sonya was better than Annihilation Sonya but not '95 Sonya.
