I understood the point. The show didnt execute what they wanted to say very well. I feel like the extreme actions the flagsmashers did were swept under the rug with that comment. Its one of the reasons I disliked this show, its a tricky subject and the show didnt do a very good job getting their messages across.

Maybe you were expecting a bit much. It's a Marvel show. It's never going to be particularly nuanced.

Youre most likely right. I felt a lot of stuff felt rushed or forced in this show, this was just the most recent issue I had with the show, so its fresher in my mind.

What exactly is the solution with the GRC gonna be

Are they telling people who got snapped and came back to squatters in their homes to fuck off now because Sam told them the Flagsmashers were right or what

Yeah, the show really would have benefitted from a 9 episode or so run that spent more time going into what happened to people after the unblipening. They hardly showed any of the things that would actually make their position more sympathetic and understandable, they just mentioned it in conversations in between dealing with the Flagsmashers blowing up factories and trying to murder people. So the Cap speech at the end really just didn't hit right for me, especially taking place surrounded by the smoking remnants of the throw-the-world's-governments-into-chaos murder plot.

I think that part of every episode should have been showing a flashback portion of Karli and those with her and how they were treated. Flashbacks starting on episode 1 with the day people came back in the homes they were now living in and ending on the final episode with taking the serum and putting on the mask kind of deal.

How about we replace the pointless boat sub plot with Sam actually encountering the folks being displaced.

Sam himself was snapped. Theres zero excuse he couldnt be woven into the plot better. He, if anything, shows the OPPOSITE in that he couldnt get a bank loan because he was gone. Showing the audience the ones snapped need more help.

Really instead of the show starting with a 20 minute action scene that was barely relevant again that should have been cut down and the intro should have been the chaos of perspective of people who have settled in their new lives suddenly having to deal with people coming back which was the scene that was really missing for the Flagsmashers.

I think the implication is they need to try and find a solution for everyone instead of just trying to force things back to how they were before.

I liked that sequence but I agree and could have used that budget elsewhere too
