I still have my old laptop and it is in good enough shape to run TEW, so alls I gotta do is SPICY UPLOAD the db before I send this one out to repairland, and then I can just use the demo version and not even have to fiddle with licenses

actually most of my games and stuff I can keep going as long as I have a bit of prep time, I just risk losing some pictures and work documents and stuff like that

So I've only started wrestlers before. Any tips on figuring out stats for anime characters?

I tend to skew things towards the middle/grade on a curve a *bit*, especially for non-IRL people, otherwise how are you gonna fit Azumanga Daioh, WWE, and DBZ all on the same scale? For something like One Piece, I would say

Brawling is....straight up brawling, like power/berserker/regular-dude-just-sluggin' folks kinda stuff (Kuwabara comes to mind, and most non-combat types will still do okay here if nowhere else)

Puroresu would be more martial arts/technique fighting (Kenshin), but also like ki blasts or fast strikes (the entire cast of DBZ)

Hardcore is for a specific focus on weapon/item/tech usage (a bunch of dudes fight with weapons and should get *decent* scores, but to get a really *good* score it needs to be Kinda Your Thing, like Link or Mega Man as opposed to somebody like Batman or Spike Spiegel who can still just punch a dude when they need to)

Technical is also things like debuffs and magic and ESP (Ninjutsu and especially Genjutsu, if I remember my Naruto) or any kinda wear-you-down type (I'm blanking on examples, but any villain that has laughed evilly and asked the hero how long he can withstand his [whatever technique]), or a regular person that doesn't seem muscly enough to be a brawler. (most slice of life waifus)

Aerial is speed stuff (Hiei), and even slow people get a boost if they can fly or hover (Jigglypuff)

Psychology is intelligence, but especially if it's used to outsmart opponents (Kenshin) or manipulate people (Aizen?)

Popularity scale is 1-9 for these guys- probably tending towards 3-6 if they are important enough to get in the mod but not important enough to start on the roster. Luffy's a 9, Nami and Zoro are 7 or 8, Buggy's maybe a 5 or 6 (he's like a recurring comedy dude after the first time, right?), probably anybody with a name is at least a 2, that dude from the beginning with the claws that everybody but me forgot existed is a 3 or 4.

Only other tip I have for you is maybe try to not go too crazy- IIRC last time we did this you were one of the more generous statters. 6 is average for pretty much all these.

So it might be worth splitting up the Trunks. I know that feels dumb but they did some interesting stuff with the two of them together in Dragon Ball Super. (don't worry about including Dragon Ball Super btw, none of the enemies there are suuuper interesting outside of Beerus, Weis, Kefla) but then also, with having a Kid Trunks, you can make him and Goten a tag team called Gotenks and for go the whole figuring out what to do with the fusion. In fact, that's what I would advise for all fusions, just tag teams lol.

You could potentially just add all the forms of Trunks as gimmicks like back in the other ones like undertaker was broken down into Biker, minesty, early 90s, Mark Calloway, current taker ect.

You could make it Future trunks as the main but have like gimmicks of Young Trunks, and Gotenks as gimmicks adn just make Goten and leave him as like a jobber or and give him the option of having Gotenks as a gimmick as well.

But that might be more complicated. But gives the players options

If you're not willing to have all 3, Future Trunks is the way you want to go. He is obviously super important here in Dragon Ball Z but he has an entire season dedicated to him in Dragon Ball Super as well where Goten and Trunks as a crew are only relevant in the Fusion section of the Buu Saga.
