Monkey and Roronoa would be family names. So however TEW handles Asian names.

There's not like a separate first and last field- what we've been doing is just putting names in Western order unless absolutely everybody would think of Eastern first. (like say Dynasty Warriors) So it's mainly a question of, if you're looking for Zoro, would you be more inclined to look under R or Z? (along the lines of whether you'd look under B for Bill or G for Goldberg)

I put in the ages pre and post time skip. Not sure which you want to use, but I'm assuming it will be the younger ages except maybe for Luffy to make him over 18.

Not overall, just a better version of the shared arcs. Since Brotherhood condenses and rushes through stuff to get to the new plot.

I've definitely heard people suggest starting with FMA and then switching to brotherhood whenever someone asks what they should watch, so I know I'm not alone in that.

Oh yes. It's so much more devastating in the original because you have spent multiple episodes seeing the brothers bond with Mina.

That reveal horrified me when I first watched it. Totally understand skipping it during rewatches. I'd probably skip the whole little arc.
