Weird I'm usually pretty unimpressed with everything else that gets hyped but really enjoyed this game. I'm not ignoring the flaws either. I see it for what it is. But really enjoyed it. It's got bugs. It's not as fleshed out as it could be. The police AI is crap. How the game flows and everything. THings were removed from the game clearly too but other than that. On my second playthrough already. Spent over 150 hours on the first one and it's better if you up the difficulty. I like how each player path has a different prologue too. Some of the best stuff is the side content too and how it all connects together.

People are pretty depressing as far as the media how they state things like it's fact. For whatever reason people chose to hate on this game where if you really play it I don't see where other games are doing much better.

not tried it, figured i'd wait until they eventually release a GotY version with all the DLC. think i saw patch notes suggest they were looking to fix cop ai.

I liked it on PC. I think people playing it on last gen consoles had an awful experience though.

I get it's not finished. I'm not rewarding them for that. But I'll also take a game that is actually good vs developers that dumb their games down to oblivion just to say it's finished. Take watch dogs for example. This game could be great. It's good. There are other games that don't even have that potential. It's annoying in that way because i really feel like this game could have been great and it's not. But it's still better than a lot of what else is out there.

I put it on par with games like days gone. fallout iv. I think it's actually better than those games. It's not as polished as rdr2 or rockstar games. The open world feels empty and like it gives off this vibe of open world but it's a scam in ways once you've done it. It's not as good as bethesda games at their height or rockstar. It's still better than fallout iv imo or days gone and i consider those some of the better open world games this gen.

I even enjoy it more than gta v because it's an rpg. I don't think it's as good as rdr2 but that's about it.

I enjoyed it on PC. Guns feel good, hacking is op and the story and characters are interesting. It's not the best game ever, but it's fun for what we got.

CDPR's unfinished game is still better than a ton of supposedly "finished" games like the typical ubi product.

I'd probably rate open world games this gen in that order. I'm also playing this over red dead 2 and enjoying it more in ways. What's there is really good. I'm not playing witcher 3 either. Even though Witcher 3 and RDR2 are much more polished at this point. There is something good about this game. Bethesda was better last gen. People are saying this game is Andromeda or Anthem and I'm not really buying that. And most sites refuse to put it on their lists of best open world games. I also found Ghosts of Tshushima more of the same and was not that impressed. Days Gone was buggy but was just as good. Horizon Zero Dawn I felt the same about it.

it has some interesting ideas but it didnt grab me enough in order to invest more than 30 hours in it...

I played it through to completion on pc. I enjoyed my time, but I see it for what it is. It didn't distract from my enjoyment, though.

I honestly can't stand the notion that i have to hate the game because the internet says so. I see it for what it is here and it's actually quite good. Yes it has flaws like every other modern game and made billions off peoples stupidity and these companies are greedy but the internet hate over this game is a bit much and just as bad. It's not worse than other games out there. The media is seriously hypocritical that way because they just feed off it with their own greed by the very definition of the word. No one is actually telling the truth.

And people wonder why these games get hyped like they do when it's the same people doing those things. Then they trash it vs doing better and the world goes round. And the same games continue to get hyped and sell because that's all people do.
