I've never liked the PS controller. It was good in the PS2 area because the other controllers (Xbox and GC) weren't right in their own ways, but I've always hated how the weight was centered. PS4 has it better, but you should pretty much always have the 'weight' of the controller where the analog stick is. The DPad is actually uncomfortable for fighting games for me, since if I'm playing a charge char or doing a lot of inputs, my thumb has to press into these rubber arrows and eventually it hurts; my thumb has been permanently calloused from playing several hundred hours of Street Fighter 2 HD Remix on PS3 lol.

Pressing buttons simultaneously is a little more annoying since the face buttons are totally flat and also are further apart than the other controllers.

The game's control setup is its most terrifying element. The left analog stick moves you forward, back, and strafes right and left, while the right analog stick turns you and can be used to look up and down.
