Dude literally fought monsters in two different Power Rangers suits and then this is how he hurts himself

You know, I understand why they recast Divatox for most of the actual show (the original actress went on maternity leave) but why did they decide that necessitated completely changing her characterization entirely?

this movie is not very good lol

I loved the first MMPR movie and can still watch it even though it has it's really cheesy and campy parts. That's part of the fun

This Turbo movie tries too hard and really misses the mark.

I do like the concept that it was canon within the new series, though, which the first MMPR movie was not

On the subject of rocky, they seem to want to make him a joke character because in the well known forever red power Rangers special with all the red Rangers, he's made into a comic relief butler for some reason or other who isn't even acknowledged or suits up as a red ranger

Anyway even as a tween I hated the kid actor. It was only barely offset by seeing the return of Jason and Kimberly in the movie.

I was 10 when the movie came out and I hated the idea and hated the stupid kid

Also I'm bumping this topic because I'm still watching it lol. Didn't finish it over the past few nights

Like I don't even care about the dumb, made-up-on-the-spot lore of "it gets more powerful overtime" or whatever. Just, you know, give the powers a proper send-off.

Yeah it was kinda really random

It was really interesting how in this movie they really avoided morphing into Zeo Rangers at all before they upgraded to Turbo

The only instance is when Kat falls off a cliff and "morphs" into Zeo Pink as she's falling into the water, which just looks like a very bad CGI overlay as she falls into the water. Then when she is underwater she isn't even in the suit

I get it that they probably didn't want to invest in the cost of costumes for the movie, but it was still kinda dumb

I don't remember a lot from Turbo, which is the series I tuned out of when I was a kid. Did Rocky remain a character in Turbo or did he fade out after the movie?

After the initial 3 part episode that kicked off Turbo, Rocky felt the powers were in good hands with Justin and left to open a karate school. Steve Cardenas wouldn't physically appear as Rocky again until Ninja Steel.

Always thought it was dumb how Rocky got written off. I mean, he was never any Jason but I still liked him well enough as MMPR Red and he was much better when he became Zeo Blue.

Same.

Though there's no point nowadays. All the cameos old Rangers get in newer seasons are just so halfassed it's like they're not even really there. I remember the recent cameo episode which brought back Tommy and like I think Rocky, TJ, and Wes? Most of them just stood in the background and barely had any lines.

Jason, Trini, and Zack's actors only found out because newspapers said they were looking for new Rangers in their colors lol
