Did you know Pop-Tarts were originally scored diagonally so you could break them in half? And the four original flavors were blueberry, strawberry, brown sugar-cinnamon, and apple-currant? No frosting anywhere to be found here.

Is it just me, or have Pop Tarts decreased the amount of filling in recent years? I don't eat them often at all, but my mom always has a box of the chocolate flavor on deck, so I'll indulge sometimes when I visit. I feel like they're a lot thinner than I remember as I child, but idk.

Depends on the flavor, but usually microwaved

And it depends. I prefer to toast them, but I'll also eat them room temperature, especially when in a rush. Haven't had them in forever, though. Got sick of them after buying up all of the pumpkin ones on clearance at a Target one year.

It isnt meant to preserve them, freezing them, like heating them up, also alters the texture/flavor profile.

Freezing them works well with weird stuff like the milkshake flavor.

Why does nobody freeze poptarts?? I am genuinely shocked by how many people don't. I only ever eat them frozen. And it was even in a few of their commercials so I really thought it was popular.

I know it's how you're supposed to eat them but poptarts heated up are gross.

the best ones are the frosted ones. those were mostly all I had for a while and really liked them, but trying a regular one once, was not as good at all. and yeah, toasted.
