I don't know the answer but in the spirit of debate I'd argue the US has interfered in a lot of elections and governments and started a lot of wars -- but so have Russia and China And I think americans assume the US is seen as the greatest country on earth, but I think most of the world views us in the way we see russia and china -- some strange land far away meddling in global affairs, nothing particularly special about the US ... I'm not one for much nationalism in general and I can speak about the negatives of the US. I think there's a side that kind of takes the negative narrative a bit too far though.
